On the first day of the print workshop we were told to choose an image and separate the layers on photoshop in to C (cyan), Y (yellow), M (magenta) and K (black) on photoshop. This was then printed on to acetate and exposed on to the screen. The process involved using one colour at a time to build the image, Cyan then Magenta and so on. I really enjoyed this process as it was satisfying and interesting seeing how the image built up after each print. The above images show our selected 4 images through their processes of development adding one colour at a time.
The second day of our workshop was a different type of print known as etching, our images were exposed to the plate then carefully inked over and printed on to paper using the ink roller press.
